Book Babbles
Can you believe these girls love to talk? Every so often, Kate and Elle have that urge… that urge to rant (or squee!) about the books they’ve been handed and all the sweet spots they hit (or don’t, as the case may be)… Book Babbles are Youtube hosted vlogs recorded about a multitude of subjects, from participating in The Story Siren’s In My Mailbox challenge, to BURN IT BURN IT whinings, all the way to gushing love! These feature very frequently on the blog.
Theme Week!
Elle and Kate read such a wide variety of fiction that it’s almost impossible for them to contain all of their love at the one time. Theme Week was a throwaway thought which grew arms and legs. Theme weeks are announced in advance and focus on one topic (Harry Potter! Non-fiction! YA!), filled with bumper giveaways and all manner of squee. The Book Look Challenge
As often as possible, Kate and Elle indulge their bookly vanity by walking into a real book store, choosing four books based solely on their covers and reading the first chapters to see if they meet the cover’s shiny promises!
